SEN Teaching Assistant and Afterschool Provision Leader

NJE Grade 4 Points 8-14 – 30 Hours

 

An exciting opportunity has become available at our outstanding village primary school for a suitably qualified SEND teaching assistant and Afterschool Provision Leader.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting and leading on SEND provision, to join our dedicated team and work alongside the school SENDco.

We would love to hear from someone who has experience of supporting children with a range of complex special educational needs and is confident in dealing with challenging behaviours. This person will share our commitment to developing the best possible learning environment, in which all children can fulfil their potential. We are looking for someone who will bring a sense of energy, enthusiasm and passion to the role; is talented at building relationships, is a good communicator and is calm, compassionate and considerate in their approach.

The role:

  • Supporting the SEN teaching and learning throughout school alongside the SENDco and Mental Health Ambassadors.
  • Classroom based small groups and intervention teaching.
  • Supporting pupils with social development and general life skills through lunchtime and extended provision.
  • Planning and delivery of an inclusive afterschool provision.

KS2 Teacher with TLR for Core Subject Leadership

Main Pay Scale 6 with TLR 2

 

The pupils, staff and Governors of North Wheatley C of E Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational KS2 teacher and core subject leader for their outstanding school starting in September 2021.  This position is available as full time only.   

 

Our new KS2 teacher will be someone who has recent experience of teaching in KS2; someone who makes learning exciting, meaningful and memorable for children and someone who is ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and vibrant rural Primary School. There could be an opportunity for a position on the Senior Leadership Team available for the right candidate.

 

We are keen to appoint a teacher who will help every child and member of staff in school to believe in themselves and others in order to achieve our motto of ‘The best me I can be...’ and thrive as part of the school community. It will therefore be very important for the successful candidate to have the passion, drive and vision to work with the whole community to help to take this highly regarded school forward.

 

As our new KS2 teacher and core subject leader, you will:
