Welcome to North Wheatley C of E Primary, a thriving Church school, where every pupil is encouraged to:
'shine as lights in the world' - Philippians 2:15
Our aim is to provide a nurturing and inspirational learning environment that enables all pupils to flourish.
All staff at North Wheatley are passionate about providing the highest quality provision, always leading by example and building excellent relationships with pupils based on respect and value. Their strong knowledge of child development and our curriculum, enables them to plan inspirational learning.
As a Church of England primary, our Christian ethos is communicated in all we do, it is evident in the caring, happy and very positive atmosphere found across the school. Pupils’ spiritual, moral, cultural and social development is as important to us as their academic attainment.
Through strong links with local churches and visitors into school, the school provides a rich and meaningful curriculum, underpinned by Christian Values, to engage and motivate pupils to become resilient and excited learners.
Our beautiful school grounds provide plenty of opportunities for first hand learning experiences. The fitness trail, outside learning environment, MUGA and sports field are real assets to school.
The pupils, staff and Governors were delighted to be judged to be ‘OUTSTANDING’ by OFSTED and in our Church SIAMs inspection in 2015.
It is an honour to be the Headteacher at North Wheatley, a school and community that is very close to my heart. I am passionate about creating an environment and culture that ignites curiosity, awe, and wonder, so that children feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and challenge themselves and others. It is important that children have the opportunity to explore their own interests and develop their talents in an inclusive environment that embraces differences so that all flourish.
We would love you to come and visit us so that you can find out more about our school, our values and how unique we are.
