Celebrating Success

At North Wheatley C of E Primary School, we encourage every member of the school community to Believe, Achieve and Thrive so that they can 'shine as lights in the world’ Philippians 2:15. 

Celebration Assembly

Every Monday, the whole school gathers to take part in our weekly Celebration Assembly! We celebrate pupils' academic and personal achievements both in and outside of schools.

A Gold Achievement and Gold Behaviour certificate is awarded to a child in each class. Half Termly, Whole school awards include the Widom and Christian Values Cups, Marvelous Mathematician, WOW Writer, Remarkable Reader, Pride & Polish, Creative Spark, Eco- Warrior and Lunchtime award. 

We also celebrate pupils who have received gem powers and the good choices made by pupils by selecting a winner from the good choice critter box. Reading at home is greatly encouraged, with pupils receiving a stamp for reading at least three times every week. This is celebrated every week. with a half-termly celebration for those pupils who have earned their half-termly reading stamp. 

We encourage children to bring in certificates and awards or share photos and videos of their achievements outside of school on Seesaw so that these can be shared with the whole school.
