Year 6

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful break. I am looking forward to seeing all of the children again and hearing about their summer adventures. We begin the year focusing on the Christian Value of Community. It is a lovely way to start the year and think about our class community and our place within the wider world too.

Year 6 brings lots of exciting opportunities and a few more responsibilities too! In preparation for secondary school and assessments, children will be provided with home-learning once a week. This will link to our current areas of study in maths and English and will be handed in on a Monday. I will send some more information about this in a few weeks ahead of this commencing.

Children will need to come to school in their PE kits every Friday and Wednesday for their PE sessions; one with Premier Education and one with school. Please also ensure you are able to login to your child's Seesaw journal as this will allow you to track their learning and receive/send messages.
