At North Wheatley C of E Primary, we are committed to keeping the personal data we hold safe and secure. Beyond our statutory duties, we take our responsibility to protect the information of pupils, staff, and families very seriously. Our Data Protection Policies and Privacy Notices explain how we collect, store, and use data responsibly.
Our Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure we comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act. The DPO’s role includes:
Advising staff on their data protection responsibilities.
Monitoring compliance with data protection laws.
Providing guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments.
Acting as the main contact for individuals with questions or concerns about their data.
Managing data breaches and liaising with the supervisory authority.
Advising on training and professional development related to data protection.
