Nursery Entitlement

Nursery Entitlement

In addition to the universal offer of 15 hours that every child is entitled to in the term after their third birthday, some children may be eligible for the extended 30-hour provision where many working parents are entitled to 30 hours of childcare funding (38 weeks per year during term time).

Eligibility criteria can be found at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

If you believe that you are entitled to the extra 30 hours funding after checking your eligibility on the above website, then please contact the school office.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST APPLY FOR YOUR ELIGIBILITY CODE THE TERM BEFORE YOUR CHILD'S THIRD BIRTHDAY.

Children accessing their universal 15-hour entitlement attend morning sessions only, from 8:30am to 11:30am.

Children accessing their 30-hour entitlement attend from 8:30am to 2:30pm. To support families whose children remain in school until the end of the school day, we offer an optional extended session from 2:30pm to 3:00pm. The charge for this additional provision is £2.79 per session.

All payments must be made via SchoolMoney in advance of each half term.

For children who are only entitled to 15 hours a week, parents are able to purchase extra sessions at a cost of £19.53 per session (3 hour session am or pm).

There are no additional charges for consumables e.g. snacks or equipment. Parents are expected to send nappies and wipes if required. We do not charge for experiences/visitors into school. From time to time, we may hold special events for which a voluntary contribution is requested; however, no child will be excluded if a contribution is not made.
