  • APTCOO APTCOO in Bassetlaw provides a range of high, quality support services to empower families pre and post diagnosis, who have children and young people with behaviours that challenge including Autism, ADHD and SEND. Families are able to self-referral via telephone, email or social media; GPs; paediatric consultants; school nurse, SENCO or any other family support services. From the first point of contact APTCOO provide emotional, practical, educational and holistic support to the whole family.   • Ask Us Nottinghamshire The depth of support we offer depends on your needs. It could be a single phone call to the helpline, where we listen and talk through your current difficulties with you, or it might be that you need a series of in-depth meetings to help you to fill out paperwork or support you through a complex issue. Some parents contact us just occasionally, to ask about something that has arisen in school, while others remain in close contact over a longer period of time, perhaps having individual support from a caseworker for up to a year.

Educational Health Care Plan 

EHCP

An Education, Health and Care plan (“EHC plan”) is a legal document which describes a child or young person’s special educational needs, the support they need, and the outcomes they would like to achieve.

  • Information about EHCP from IPSEA Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (known as IPSEA) is a registered charity (number 327691) operating in England. IPSEA offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
