Voices of Water by Tony Mitton

The water in the rain says tick, tick, tack
The water in the sleet says slush
The water in the ice says crick, crick, crack
The water in the snow says hush

The water in the sink says slosh, slosh
The water in the tap says drip
The water in the bath says wash, wash
The water in the cup says sip

The water in the pool says splish, splash
The water in the stream says trill
The water in the sea says crish, crash
The water in the pond... stays still

The water in the soil says sow, sow
The water in the cloud says give
The water in the plants says grow, grow
The water in the world says live

We are delighted to welcome Mrs Greaves to the North Wheatley team. Mrs Greaves will be the Early Years Leader and Foundation Stage 2 teacher. To support pupils with their transition, Mrs Greaves has recorded a special story for the pupils starting FS2 in September.

We have also produced a 'Transition to full-time school' document for parents and carers ahead of September.

We just couldn't resist sharing a few of our Spring Term pictures.

It's been amazing to look back and see your smiling faces, those faces we all miss so much. The whole Early Years Team have enjoyed the learning you are sharing on Tapestry and couldn't be prouder of your positive spirit and passion to learn. Whether it be painting, dancing, counting or learning to understand the world through science activities and events such as VE Day, you are all taking part in some brilliant learning at home, so well done!

Please keep sharing your learning with us so we can share your success via Twitter as well as here, on our new class page.

Stay Safe and keep smiling,

from The EYFS TEAM
