Distinctive Christian Ethos

Our Distinctive Christian Ethos

“After being baptised, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and alighting on Him.

Matthew 3:16

The dove is a symbol of hope and peace.  For us here at North Wheatley C of E Primary, the dove represents the Holy Spirit and the gifts and qualities he brings.  Combined with the image of the Holy Spirit as light and using his gifts, we are equipped for our journey, and empowered to

'shine as lights in the world’.

Philippians 2:15

As one big ‘family’ we encourage ourselves and others to ‘be the very best me you can be’. To thrive through a culture of care, compassion and encouragement, a sense of hope.

We have a very positive approach aiming for learning to be fun, meaningful and inspirational, we enjoy working in a happy and collaborative atmosphere. Our vision ensures that connections are made, remembered and applied in learning; that our pupils treasure this part of their educational journey and carry from it, lots of happy memories, skills and knowledge that will help them with the choices they make later in life.
